The Science of Healthspan 

We'll explore:

1.      How holistic medicine includes therapies and lifestyle practices that enhance optimal mental health and lengthen an individual's healthspan. 

Healthspan=Lifespan minus morbidity (time spent in ill health).

2.      Media, meds, and addictions; how they affect aging.

3.      Foods and herbs (phytochemicals) that promote healthy aging.

 

Renée Rossi, MD, MFA, CAP

has been a physician (Otolaryngologist) for over 30 years and is certified with NAMA as an Ayurvedic Practitioner.

She is currently completing her Masters work in Ayurveda (holistic medicine).

She has been involved in resident MD and community health teaching and is interested in promoting healthy lifestyle practices.
